Very detailed preparation for job…dirt removal from edge of asphalt, edging, filled in cracks to include 2” wide gap between  concrete garage floor and beginning of asphalt with sand then sealant. My neighbor had Matthew repair and seal his driveway and was happy with the results. When I saw him at another neighbor’s house I asked him to give me a quote. It was fair and reasonable. It had been a couple of years since I maintained my driveway so it needed a little extra repair. The procedure he used to repair the cracks in the driveway and method of application of the sealant was better than the companies we’ve used in the past. Really great experience getting my driveway cracks repaired and asphalt resealed. They were prompt, communicated like professionals, and did the job by hand - with care. Other companies were going to charge more, spray a thin layer, and they were going to even clean it beforehand. Very disappointed in their "work". They broke off a corner of our concrete apron while doing whatever it was they did. There are areas where almost immediately water pooled after a rain. Uneven work in several places. Most of these pictures were taken soon after the job was supposedly finished but now it is even worse and it hasn't even been two years. We contacted them several times after, but we were either ignored or they said they would come by and never showed up. Pretty pathetic after we spent well over $20,000. My asphalt driveway was in dire need of a seal coat and crack fill before winter settles in. I decided to shop around and requested quotes from three providers, one of which was Asphalt Advanced Services. What sold me on AAS was the professionalism of their owner who communicated with me during the entire process. Not only did Matthew provide a reasonable quote but also provided a insurance certificate to have on file. No other company that I’ve dealt with in the past has taken that measure. Their customer service is second to none. After approving the quote, timing of the work was a couple weeks out. Once again Matthew and Asphalt Advanced Services stepped up and notified me of a cancellation and said they could do the work the next day. How good is that! The crew arrived as scheduled and the work was done seamlessly. I’m amazed and extremely happy with how good my driveway looks. The sealant is a rich black color that makes my driveway look like new. AAS did my driveway along with my neighbors and the road we all share last year. The crew did great on the whole job, kept it clean, and made sure all the damaged areas were fixed. To date, we've had this company add a large section of new asphalt to our existing driveway, seal coat and they helped us with what I would consider a special project.  That special project entailed us having to run a pipe underneath our existing driveway.  They dug the trench for us and once the pipe was in place, they refilled the trench and patched over with new asphalt.  When they were finished, it looked smooth and professional. AAS did a great job with our parking lot. The work needed to be done included removing a curb and patching with asphalt, crack seal, seal coat entire lot and then re-stripe.
